(also notice my family wondering what I’m doing.)
Just to clarify the above.
Now when I turn on the slice it takes me straight to the Noobs screen. From there I cannot exit so when I try an install it fails with the same screen as above, then tries to boot and hangs with a black screen with a red square at the top corner.
Any ideas? I’m unable to use my slice now.
Fixed this problem for someone else, but thought you’d see it there…
I believe the problem is the FAT32 partition is slightly too large and the recovery system will not re-size it unless it is the only partition on the filesystem.
To fix this, log back into the recovery terminal then type:
noobs_update mount -o remount,rw /mnt sed -i -e s/6291456/4718592/ /mnt/recovery.cmdline mount -o remount,ro /mnt
This should then restart and allow you to install correctly
Thank you Gordon!!!
Although I have faith, I must admit was a bit worried there.
